As Dave and I traveled on the Marta train from the airport, there was a man who stood up and spoke to everyone in our car,.and cried,. yes, he was asking for money, and yes, this is illegal on Marta...but it was so absolutely heartbreaking and real about all the trials he had that I HAD to give him some money.   Kalenn

Even though I already added all of the MANY hours I put in at planning meetings, preparations, etc. for the elementary school/community "Red & Blue Fair"- I felt it appropriate to add the 8 additional hours I put in on the day of the event. It was a crazy day! I put out quite a few little fires - and it was definitely hard to make everyone happy - but, overall, the day was a huge success! I ran around like a crazy person and could barely move off the couch afterwards - but it was definitely a satisfying RELIEF it was over!

#49 Our Kdg. Class decided to end the year with a charity talent show to raise money for St Jude's children's research center! It was sooo cute and thanks to all the generous parents and friends we raised over 2,000$ to help these kids! It was great to organize all this with the teacher I work with and to make a monetary contribution as well.  Kalenn
